Adding Weights to Your Yoga Routine

I love adding weight training to my yoga routine. I am not talking about lifting heavy weights. The weights I use for my yoga sculpt classes are only 2.5 pounds. The heaviest weight I have used in a yoga sculpt class is 5 pounds. With yoga, light hand weights are all you need.

Adding lightweight training to a fitness routine offers several important benefits, including:

1. Improved Muscle Strength

2. Enhanced Bone Density

3. Increased Metabolism

4. Better Joint Stability and Flexibility

5. Improved Mental Health

6. Functional Strength

7. Low Risk of Injury
